The recipe of "Zwiebelschmelz" was created almost 40 years ago at the local stove. An empty household budget and experimentation were his obstetricians. A larger pot and a new ladle had to be purchased, because friends, acquaintances and also the first health food shops of the area discovered the vegan spread as a delicious alternative to sausage and cheese. Today, many diligent hands - by now more than 100 employees - provide a total of almost 100 different types of spreads, mustard specialties, tomato sauces, fruit spreads and Soul Kitchen (vegetable dishes).
Almost 40 years of expertise and experience in the production of vegetarian and vegan delicacies from 100% certified organic farming. That makes Zwergenwiese happy and they are proud of that.
